Fins Swimming Club takes water safety very seriously and we demonstrate this throughout the year.
In preparation for the summer holidays, we run a Water Safety week during the last week of term. Swimmers play games, answer questions and enact scenarios involving water safety and personal survival. Swimmers who are interested in gaining further water safety skills should enrol in our Rookie Lifeguard classes, suitable for swimmers who have achieved Stage 6 and above.
Swimmers over 16 years of age may attend a NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) course.
