Swimming Teacher Training

Are you looking for part time work?
Do you enjoy swimming and working with children?

If you have answered 'Yes' to these questions, you might be the perfect
Swimming Teacher - just waiting to be trained!

To become a swimming teacher you must be at least 16 years old;
so you may have younger adults in your household who are also interested.
Excellent rates of pay are potentially available!

There are two qualifications for you to gain:

The Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) Course
This is the first step and it allows you to support a Level 2 qualified Swimming teacher in the water

Level 2 Teaching Swimming Course
The second step which you can take after your Level 1, or as a combined course

Visit www.theiosonline.com for course dates, information and to book.

Once you are trained you can apply to Fins Swimming Club to help us in our weekly schedules.
For successful applicants, there are a choice of hours and work on a part time basis.

Training available at Fins

Pool Helpers & Poolside Operator Course
We also have some opportunities to work as Pool Helpers (in the water) and Poolside Receptionists.
These roles are also very rewarding and might be an ideal first step to see if swim teaching would be for you!
