Fins Swimming Club in the local community

Community is at the heart of Fins Swimming Club

Fins Swimming Club is a not-for-profit organisation with a community interest. 

As such we are always looking for ways in which we can give back to the community. 

One of the most important aspects of this community work is our partnership with local schools in providing them with free pool hire and special community teaching rates to carry out their school swimming programmes. 

Furthermore, Fins is committed to investing in school swimming pools to keep them open and in operation and thus providing an environment from which Fins can run their lessons in conjunction with the school’s pool usage. 

We have various community events running throughout the year including our 

Distance Days and Award Presentations, both of which provide a fantastic opportunity 

for us to recognise our swimmers’ achievements and are run by our staff who volunteer their time.
