There are many games a parent can play with their child to assist in their lessons. Blowing bubbles using a straw or just using their mouths teaches breathing control and gets them used to having water on their faces. Practice kicking in the bath or just to lie back and relax. Whatever activity you do with your child be prepared to get wet yourself, but most of all smile and show your child what fun it is. 'Toys on the bottom of the bath' is a good game especially when getting used to goggles.
